Raj Amin brings a wealth of experience with cloud software companies to Avetta, including high-growth financing, operations and strategic management

With more than 25 years of experience in high-growth tech companies, Amin has a demonstrated history of operational and strategic success in cloud software (SaaS) companies.

Amin’s hiring comes on the heels of continuing growth, a broadening product portfolio, a growing supplier network and an expanding global footprint.

During his time there, he played a pivotal role in driving the company's business model transformation and fostering rapid growth.

Prior to these roles, Amin was an essential part of the executive team that contributed to the tremendous success of Eloqua. As one of the pioneers and leaders in the SaaS marketing automation platforms, Eloqua saw significant achievements, including a highly successful IPO in 2012 and its eventual acquisition by Oracle.

Amin holds the esteemed title of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and obtained his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Avetta announces new initiative for rail industry in partnership with Australia’s Rail, Tram, and Bus Industry Union

Avetta have announced that a new piece of their software has been chosen by the Australian Rail, Tram and Bus Industry Association.

Avetta®, the leading provider of Contractor Risk Management Software, today announced that the Australian Rail, Tram and Bus Industry Union (RTBU) selected Avetta to create an industry solution for all rail workers across Australia. RailWallet will verify and manage rail worker qualifications and compliance with industry requirements and regulations.



The RTBU was formed in 1993 by amalgamating four of Australia’s oldest unions. Today, RTBU has over 35,000 members in the rail, tram, and government bus sectors across Australia and is part of the International Transport Federation (ITF), which covers 18.5 million transport workers globally. The ITF connects more than 700 affiliated trade unions from 150 countries to improve workers’ lives and secure rights, equality and justice for workers’ globally.



“The RTBU has embarked on a key initiative with Avetta for the benefit of our industry, working collaboratively with industry organisation representatives,” said Mark Diamond, National Secretary at RTBU. “Many rail employers have expressed their desire to find a better, more portable rail card that captures the entire industry. We have convened an Industry Advisory Committee to work collaboratively and appreciate the involvement of industry operators in the group.”



In collaboration with key industry representatives from the rail industry, the RTBU and Avetta have partnered to develop a solution that supports the safety and compliance of all rail workers. For the first time, rail workers will have access to their rail card directly from their mobile devices. There, they can view their roles, competencies and compliance progress, upload competency documents, check verification status, and complete training assignments and inductions.



Industry operators can set and manage rail workers’ roles, competencies, plan and track training and inductions, view worker analytics and reporting, and control site access to meet regulatory requirements. RailWallet will reduce administrative delays and streamline worker compliance, making it easier for rail employees to understand, achieve and maintain compliance to safely conduct the work they are asked to perform.

Avetta Hires CMO to Lead Growth Charge

Avetta has announced the appointment of Gretchen Eischen as Chief Marketing Officer. Eischen will take over the responsibility for Avetta’s brand positioning, marketing strategy, and communication initiatives as the company expands globally. The appointment comes after EQT Private Equity announced that it would acquire the supply chain risk management software vendor from Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe. Hiring a dedicated CMO seems like a sensible first step on that growth path. She assumes the role from Taylor Allis, who will now focus on his role as Chief Product Officer.

Who is Gretchen Eischen

Eischen joins from Icertis the CLM vendor, where she was Chief Marketing Officer until November 2023. She subsequently set up a marketing consultancy under the GTM Strategy brand. Eischen has more than 20 years of experience in global technology marketing. She is familiar with contractor and supply chain technology, having worked at SAP for two years. She spent nearly 19 years working at SAP, working initially in sales for SAP Ariba before moving to a marketing role. Her final position at SAP was Head of Marketing (CMO) for SAP Procurement Solutions (SAP Ariba & SAP Fieldglass).

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

This is a significant hire for Avetta as it looks to grow the firm. The company already has 13 offices and a growing number of employees. The company is also expanding rapidly, with nearly 70 roles available on its careers site.

The big question is how Eischen will take Avetta’s product portfolio forward.
